TidalBasin.jpg (4522 bytes) Tidal Basin: The Cherry Blossom Festival starts in early April.  More than 6,000 cherry trees line the Tidal Basin near the Thomas Jefferson Memorial and are illuminated at night during their weeklong blossoming season.
