Welcome to the Energy
Facility Contractors Group's Knowledge Portal.
EFCOG
promotes excellence in all aspects of the operation,
management, and integration of DOE facilities in a safe,
environmentally sound, efficient and cost-effective
manner through the ongoing exchange of information on
lessons learned.
The purpose of this Knowledge Portal is to provide a
vehicle to allow members to keep abreast of the latest
news, issues, and events across the DOE complex; for the
sharing of innovative ideas and practices; and to
collaborate virtually on the development and
implementation of new processes and practices.

July 31, 2008 - The Department of Energy
(DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM), and the
National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), will be
co-sponsoring a Suppliers Outreach event with the Energy
Facility Contractors Group (EFCOG) and the Nuclear Energy
Institute (NEI) for suppliers interested in providing
services and products in the nuclear sector on July 31, 2008

In addition, participants will have the opportunity to
interact directly with senior executives, project managers,
and procurement personnel working for DOE and its prime
contractors; and, gain insight into Nuclear Quality
Assurance program requirements applicable to both the DOE
and commercial nuclear industry sectors. For
