DOE Complex Electrical Event Charts

August 2007

There is a significant increasing trend in 08A Electrical Shock ORPS across the DOE Complex.  August 2007 was above the Upper Control Limit with 6 reports, June 2007 was two standard deviations above average with 5 reports.  In the past three months, there have been a total of 15 Occurrence Reports with a 08A Keyword.  In comparison, there were only 5 in the previous three months.

The Office of Science (SC prefix) 08A chart shows August 2007 above its Upper Control Limit with 3 reports in August.

The decrease from 15 reports per month to 10 per month on the All DOE All Electrical Events chart appears to be going away.  The current data are not yet a significant increase from the 10 per month baseline, but the data appear to be very close to a significant increase, and are hovering about the old rate of 15 per month.
