DOE Complex Electrical Event Charts

December 2007

The DOE Complex-wide 08J Electrical Near Miss chart shows a decreasing trend for May 2007 - December 2007.  There have been 2 or 3 events per month during that time interval, all below the baseline of 3.6 per month.

SC Program Office 08A Electrical Shocks per month chart has had a new baseline average established following the trend signal from August 2007 of a point above the Upper Control Limit.  The previous rate was 0.36 per month.  Since February 2007, the rate has been twice that rate, and a new baseline at 0.72 per month has been established.

“Check of Work Less than Adequate A3B1C01” remains the leading cause of electrical events.
