Analysis of EFCOG Electrical Safety Charts for May 2010.

DOE, EM and NA charts were relatively low for May 2010 compared to recent increasing trends. New average and control limits will be established for charts with recent red circles (trends) as the data stabilize.

SC Program Office had only two events in May 2010, but both events were 08J Near Misses. This is a nearly significant increase on the SC 08J Chart.

Causes A3B1C03 – “Incorrect performance due to mental lapse” remains the leading cause over the past 12 months. A3B2C02 – “Signs to stop were ignored and step performed incorrectly” moved up into second place this month.
