The Qualification Card includes documented performance of the candidate supervising work in a radiation area while being observed by an experienced qualified PIC/Field Work Supervisor or his Manager.

Planner Training & Qualification

  • Los Alamos's Planner Training/Qualification Program: is designed to identify the training that will increase or strengthen the skills, knowledge, and abilities of Work Planners at KSL.  It establishes a minimum set of capabilities and expectations necessary for work planning personnel to accomplish their assigned duties.
  • Hanford's OJT Card and Guide for Work Planner: The OJT Card and Guide for Work Planner requires the candidate to perform various tasks associated with developing or changing work orders. These tasks are performed by the candidate in the presence of his manager or mentor who signs and attests to the candidate's proficiency in each area.
     
  • Hanford's Work Planner Qualification Requirements: The Work Planner Qualification Requirements standard defines the requirements for qualifying and maintaining qualification of work planners for the Hanford Tank Farm Contractor.
