| Chemical Dispersion and Consequence Assessment CD/CA |
|
Carl Mazzola .5 IH CM point Review of basic principles associated with assessment of consequences resulting from accidental release of hazardous chemicals. The course includes discussions on principals of superheating, sub-cooling, jets, effects of underlying surfaces, and other effects that are needed to accurately characterize a source term from a variety of chemical release conditions. After establishing the chemical source term, the atmospheric transport and dispersion mechanisms will be covered. |
